LACIAC — the Lagos Chamber's arbitration arm — serves thousands of businesses and legal practitioners across Lagos State. Their existing digital presence did not reflect the institutional gravity of an official arbitration centre, and the process of accessing services was opaque to first-time users unfamiliar with ADR procedures.
Our Approach
We built a platform that projects institutional authority while making dispute resolution services genuinely accessible. Every service — arbitration, mediation, conciliation, adjudication, expert determination — is explained in plain language alongside the formal procedural detail that legal practitioners expect. The ODR portal brings the process fully online for members.

Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Portal
Taking a commercial dispute to arbitration traditionally required physical presence and paper filings. We built an ODR portal that allows members to file cases, submit evidence, and track case progress digitally — reducing barriers for businesses outside central Lagos and modernising a process that historically excluded smaller commercial actors.
Service Pages in Plain Language + Formal Detail
A business owner who has never encountered arbitration and a commercial lawyer briefing a client both use this platform. We wrote service pages that explain each dispute resolution mechanism clearly for the uninitiated, while including the procedural and rules-based detail that legal professionals require — one page, two audiences, both served.
Rules and Model Clauses Library
Legal practitioners need LACIAC's institutional rules and model arbitration clauses readily available when drafting contracts and agreeing dispute resolution provisions. We built a structured library that makes these documents immediately accessible — turning the website into a practical working tool for Lagos's legal community, not just an information portal.
